| The Kh-15 air-to-surface missile, known as AS-16 "Kickback" with NATO countries was developed by Soviet Union and was intended to defeat ground targets with it's nuclear warhead. Basic variant of this missile is completed with a nuclear warhead. Other variants based on the same air-to-surface missile are the Kh-15A (unknown type and purpose), Kh-15P anti-radar missile, Kh-15S high-explosive missile (other sources claim, that the Kh-15S is a dedicated anti-ship missile). |
